Garrison Academy For Cambridge Studies

Admission in O’ level is considered after successful completion of grade-7 by a student. The admission is granted on the basis of result obtained from the previous school and on attaining minimum 60% marks in the entrance test administered at GACS. The entrance test includes content from Mathematics, Science and English. After qualifying the entrance test, the candidate may be interviewed by the Principal. This exercise usually takes place in the last week of March and first week of April, but a second round of admissions is probable depending on availability of seats after the first intake. In case the candidate has qualified, but there is no seat, a waiting list as per merit is maintained to avoid any inconvenience to the student or the parent. Any student who tends to seek admission while the academic session is in progress, would be assessed in the syllabi covered at GACS at that point and his/her merit would be determined accordingly.
